Rescue Diver
The Rescue Scuba Diver course is designed to expand your diving knowledge and skills by learning to efficiently manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies, how to assist and transport divers, and how to perform surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers. Even though the subject is serious, the program is very rewarding, enjoyable, and increases self-confidence in the openwater environment.
This scuba class consists of:
- 3 Academic Class Room Sessions
- 2 Pool Sessions
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us! Of course we have our scheduled classes and checkout dives, but custom options are also available if these don’t fit your schedule. We offer weeknight classes, private classes at your pace and location, and you can do your checkout on our exotic dive trips.
Once you are 15 years of age and a certified scuba diver, you can expand your diving knowledge with a NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver. Learn how to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies, how to assist and transport divers, and how to perform surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers. CPR and First Aid certifications are required to complete this course. Your Rescue Scuba Diver training moves you on your pathway to becoming a NAUI Leader as a Skin Diving Instructor, Assistant Instructor, Divemaster, or Instructor.

This class consists usually meets on week nights from 6:00PM - 9:00PM.
The first night is listed in the schedule section, and the rest of the schedule is established on the first night to accommodate each student’s schedule.
